Join the NLDC Achievement Ball...

SATURDAY, May 1st - 2021 4pm PST, 5pm MST, 6pm CST, 7pm EST

 
Something to look forward to... An opportunity to achieve... A time to celebrate dance. A moment to be celebrated for your personal WIN!

JOINING IS AS EASY AS 123!

1)  Students and teachers should work together to create a personal achievement plan.  This plan should include:
  • Dances you currently do well
  • Dances you would like feel more confident with
  • New dances you would like to add to your repertoire
  • Technical breakthroughs you would like to achieve
  • Levels you currently dance and ones you would like to move towards
  • Consider doing a routine or two dancing without a partner in order to REALLY own your dancing
  • Include showcase and/or competition routines you would like evaluated
  • Remember that everything you do with the NLDC is a means to create personal goals, gain feedback and enjoy a personal success!

2)  Create a plan to work on and progress towards your goals
  • Remember that just like a competition, you may enter the same level multiple times.  The only difference is that instead of receiving a ribbon, you will gain more feedback from additional adjudicators. Feedback is the breakfast of champions...

3)  Take and submit videos for each of your entered dances
  • Videos may be costumed in any way you desire and may be shot in any location.
  • Please assure the dancing can be seen at all times and should not be taken so high that the feet cannot be viewed.
  • Have fun with the video process and do them as you feel ready. Do one video at a time or wait until the end and do them all at once.
  • Pick your favorite video to be highlighted at the Achievement Ball.
  • Write your short Bio and submit.
  • Submission details will be provided upon Registration.
  • Get ready to CELEBRATE at the Achievement Ball where each dancer will be highlighted in our live, virtual dance event.


Important Dates to Remember!

  • Registration Deadline - April 1st
  • Highlight Video & Bio Due - April 15th
  • All Video Submissions Due - April 22nd (flexible)
  • Next Level Dance Challenge Achievement Ball - May 1st. 4pm PST
  • Receive Adjudicator Feedback & Certificates (approx. May 15th)
  • MORE CELEBRATION!!!
